Simone Biles
Simone Biles won her 20th gold medal in the World Championships when Team USA captured its seventh successive world title on the night of October 4, in Antwerp Belgium. Simone Biles is by far the most decorated gymnast in history having won 33 medals in international competitions as well as the Olympics. Biles performed an extremely difficult vault just a few days earlier the Olympics, which was the first time a woman performed before in the course of competition internationally. The vault, originally known in the form of Yurchenko Double Pike Vault, has been changed to Biles II. In her final all-around event on the 6th October, this record-breaking gymnast will compete in her very first international event in 2021. Simone was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1997. Her mother was struggling with addiction issues. Simone and her three siblings were removed from the family home and placed in foster care. Ron the maternal grandfather and Nellie his wife, a retired nurse welcomed the children. Six years ago, age they adopted Simone and Adria. Simone and her elder siblings were adopted by their maternal aunt.
